Staffing
Having qualified staff trained in early childhood education is critical to the success of our preschool program. All of our lead teachers hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or a related field of study and have at least one year of experience teaching in an early education setting. Each classroom has at least one assistant teacher who holds an associates or CDA certification in Early Childhood or has at least 12 hours of Early Childhood credit hours and one year of experience teaching in an early childhood setting. Our teachers participate in continuing education courses on a regular basis to keep current on Early Childhood trends and innovations. All of our staff members are certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid, Child Development, Signs & Symptoms of Illness, Child Abuse & Neglect, Safe Sleep Practices as well as How to Support Breastfeeding Mothers and Families.
Security
Our school is securely monitored by video cameras inside and outside the building. All doors leading into the building are locked throughout the day. Staff and families use a fingerprint identification child care system to gain access and clock in and out each day.
Parent/Family Communications
What did your child do today? Now you will always know. We use email as our primary form of communication through a secured site. We send regularly updated photos and videos of your child to give you a view inside their day. In addition, daily reports keep you informed of the activities and learning experiences that happen while you are away.
Outdoor Classroom/Playground Space
We view our outdoor play space is an extension of our classrooms where children continue to learn while having fun. We have created safe, clean environments utilizing synthetic turf and rubber mulch products that dry quickly so our children can get back outside as soon as possible. In addition to play equipment our playgrounds offer various centers such as outdoor kitchens, sandboxes, water play, reading areas, etc. to give children choices.
