Putting Down Roots

Children’s Treehouse Learning Center is a family inspired, owned and operated, enhanced childcare and preschool educational program. Our fun, child-centered environment encourages students to be life-long learners.

Since 2015, we have been putting down roots in Lenexa, KS. Our center has been completely renovated on the interior with a fresh contemporary environment equipped with the latest childcare technology. Five fundamentals will serve as the driving force for making us a truly unique experience for our families:

1. Premier Care Giving Services – As caregivers we will strive to develop close, trusting and supportive relationships with the children in our care. We will cuddle, hold, play, and talk with children in a warm, unhurried, give-and-take manner. Primary caregivers are established for all of our younger classrooms.

2. A Hands-On, Activity-Based, Child-Structured Curriculum - Research shows children learn best through discovery, also known as Active Participatory Learning. At Children’s Treehouse Learning Center each day your child will read, play, create, explore, sing, discuss, observe, and move.

3. Advanced Childcare Technology – We offer the latest technology in childcare software and security. Our center is secured with video cameras throughout and all adults must check in and out of the center using a fingerprint identification system. In addition, our teachers are equipped with tablets used for emailing photos, videos and daily reports to keep you informed of the daily activities.

4. Enrichment Programs – Included in your tuition, are visits to the Beaver’s Lodge, our multi-purpose room, where students are led in instructional play with tumbling mats, balls, parachutes, etc., as well as visits to our Bird’s Nest, the library, where students explore sensory walls, light tables, dramatic play, a computer lab and story times. In addition, we are staffed with a Creative Arts teacher who visits the children’s rooms regularly.

5. Community/Parent Mentoring and Involvement – Making a difference in the lives of others is a passion of ours. We offer ongoing parent seminars to share with you everything ranging from child development research to creative art. Monthly family events are something we look forward to hosting. In addition, helping children understand generosity is another important initiative of ours. Our school family looks forward to working together to give back to our community through planned activities and events.
