Meet Ms. Birdie

In addition to our wonderful staff, we also have a special helper who loves to work with our students. Research shows that both adults and children can benefit greatly in mood and temperament when they come into contact with a certified therapy dog and while she may be small, Birdie's presence looms large over the Treehouse. Birdie spends her day moving through classrooms, offering love and affection to all who come into contact with her. Birdie's presence gives our students the opportunity to practice regulating their emotions and receive a little extra love where they may need it. Staff, students, as well as their parents, all look forward to beginning and ending their day with a Birdie cuddle. She is truly the MVP of our school!
